Topmiller Takes the AFT Division 21 Finale and AOY on the Kissimmee Chain
James Topmiller swept the win and the Angler of the Year title at the AFT Division 21 finale on the Kissimmee Chain
James Topmiller won the American Fishing Tour Division 21 Two-Day Championship June 13–14 on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. He took the Angler of the Year title in the same trip.
Results
American Fishing Tour Division 21 — Two-Day Championship, Kissimmee Chain, June 13–14 Topmiller won the season finale and clinched Angler of the Year. The win closes out Division 21's run on the Kissimmee Chain after Matthew Gunn's May 2 Lake Toho stop earlier in the season.
The Xtreme Bass Series ran its Citrus Division Stop 6 on June 27 and a Panhandle Stop 1 on June 26. Finishing weights for those events have not posted yet.
On the Water
Crappie are holding around submerged brush and docks in 20 to 30 feet of water, taking mini-jigs, small swimbaits, and live shiners.
Catfish have turned on after dark. Cut baits, chicken liver, clams, and nightcrawlers are producing in deeper coves and channels through the evening and overnight.
